First let us talk about shakes. You can find soy shakes, protein shakes and milk shakes in many flavors. Take a shake twice a day instead of two meals. In other words, use a shake to substitute a meal. Should be one for breakfast and another for either lunch or dinner. Your choice.

For snacking you can find low-carb protein bars, soy bars, soy nuts and milk bars. When you are dieting make sure to eat your 3 meals, but also have about 2-3 snacks during the day.

The last thing you need is to drink plenty of water. Keep a gallon of water in your fridge, so when you need to, it is ready for you. If you are not a water drinker then you may add some lemon to make it taste better for you. I have lost 20 and have kept it off for 2 years and counting. I believe that the water was the main thing that helped me.
